Summary

Its daily administration is followed by a marked increase in the number of red blood corpuscles ; the lassitude inertia and lack of zest associated with anaemia are overcome and with renewed appetite and the return of normal digestive processes the period of convalescence is shortened and the patient returns to the full enjoyment of robust health. [...] In the most conclusive of the clinical investigations which established the value of concentrated vitamins A and D in the treatment of infections the exceptional effectiveness of Adexolin was attributed at least in part to this natural balance.
