Summary
The Vitamin A in Radiostoleum preserves the integrity of the mucous membranes lining the body ; the collateral administration of Vitamin D with Vitamin A intensifies the effect of the latter and at the some time counteracts any deficiencies of the calcifying vitamin. [...] Illustrative matter should not be sent in the form of unarranged drawings or photographs but be definitely arranged or allocated by the author as so many text-figures or plates as the case may he having due regard to the size and shape of the page of the Journal and the capacity of the drawings or photos for reduction. [...] The value of the separate estimation of 0 ' agglutination in the course of the examination of vibrios was shown in the reports of certain workers notably Bruce White in the course of the trials which had been carried out with sera prepared in connection with an investigation directed towards the production of a standard cholera agglutinating serum and which are embodied J MR ( 931 ) 1932 A Stu [...] The object of this portion of the Inquiry was the examination of strains isolated from cases of clinical cholera healthy carriers and water from endemic and noendemic areas in India for the purpose of ascertaining whether vibrios of other than the classical type and of any consistent nature could be tetiologically associated with the disease the distribution of such strains in different' are [...] In view of the smallness of many of the groups the value of this table is diminished but it shows that vibrios of even the smaller groups can be detected in more than one of the different sources in spite of the very low percentage incidence that these groups may occupy on the whole.
