Summary
Left for the field on inspection duty on the 24th March and returned from the field on the 15th April 1934. [...] Attached to the Burma Circle and arrived at Rangoon to continue the survey of the Jade Mines in the Myitkyina district on the 29th January 1934. [...] Returned from the field on the 31st January 1934 ; again left for the field on the 17th March 1934 and returned on the 14th April 1934. [...] Granted earned leave from the 14th to the 29th May 1934 and from the 9th to the 11th October 1934. [...] always basaltic lava considers that the lateritisation of the basalts and the granitic rocks has been similar but that the nature of the rock which has been lateritised has influenced the constitution of the laterite produced.
