Technology, Culture, and Startups: A Comparative Study of Israel and Hungary

This dissertation explores the impact of technology on startups' organizational culture and macro environment, focusing on a comparative study between Israel and Hungary. Using qualitative research methods, including semi-structured interviews, the research investigates how national culture, organizational culture, and technology interact to influence startup success. The findings highlight the influence of government support on technology innovation and the crucial role of cultural factors in adopting and integrating technology. Furthermore, the study examines decision-making processes related to technology acquisition and proposes a novel categorization for preferred knowledge management tools in startups, contributing to a deeper understanding of technology's role in the entrepreneurial landscape.
